Weaving my way around Rheumatoid Arthritis.

If it’s not one thing

It’s another.

I have a mysterious new pain in my left wrist. It’s one of those little annoyances. Pre-RA a fleeting though of “wonder what I did” would have passed quickly through my brain, I would have ignored it, and in a couple of days it would have been gone. Now it’s scary as h**l. Not only is it NEW, but it’s my left wrist, where it all started so badly 2 years ago. A different part of my wrist – some of the same motions are causing pain in a different place. Maybe it’s the other end of the tendon acting up??? And why??? What did I do??? Ice and Vicks to try to address the inflammation.

Dr. Art Ayres is my favorite source for information on immune problems from a non-traditional approach. He’s science heavy, and I don’t always understand all I’m reading, but there’s always something of interest. Here’s a link to his site, hope you find something useful:

If I ignore my wrist, I can say today was an excellent day. All my joints are just about back to normal. Feet, ankles, knees a little stiff this morning, better than yesterday, and fine at the end of the day.

I pottered around in my garden off and on all morning, a weed here, a little mulch, a hole for a new plant. Now the lettuce, broccoli, cabbage, and brussel sprouts are in the ground!

I’m off to the mountains tomorrow for a holiday weekend with DD1.
