Weaving my way around Rheumatoid Arthritis.

The countdown

I’ve slept in my tent in the back yard for some time. Trying out different items of gear that I borrowed, looking for just the right combination before I purchased my own.

Now I have a wonderful new down bag, a slinky silk liner, a wonderful sleeping pad (wrapped in a silver emergency blanket to reflect the heat) and am all set to go. I feel like a kid again, waiting for Christmas to arrive!

Only 17.5 days… but who’s counting!

(and RA is behaving today. Still some lingering edema, but the weather is stable for the moment, and all joints are a go)
