Weaving my way around Rheumatoid Arthritis.

A pretty good day

with 2 comments

Spent the morning at the Farmer’s Market. No sales, but lots of fun comments on my art work. Today’s best – “deliciously provocative” and “they remind me of the Guggenheim in Spain” – pretty fun to have my art compared to a famous building!

Here are three of my current favorites.

After the market, I took a nap, had a lymph massage, cooked dinner for the crew, played with the chickens and relaxed – just a normal Saturday. Now it’s raining cats and dogs and I’m stuck inside for the night. I really prefer sleeping in my tent  – but not in a thunderstorm. My neighbor lost 6 cows to a lightning strike two days ago. And we had a tree hit last week. So now I’m not so fearless. But I sleep better in the quiet of the woods, so I may wait out the storm and head for the tent later.

erg – I gained 3 pounds overnight, to score a new high – haven’t seen that number in two years. WHAT is going on?

My Lymph therapist is working again, after 6 weeks off for medical reasons. I saw her today, so hopefully the scale will move in the right direction tomorrow.

All the joints are happy today. The big bad front arrived and with it, my joints settled down.

I saw the dermatologist on Thursday, and the stuff she gave me for my hands seems to be calming them, too.

All in all, a pretty good day.

    • Thank you!

I just sell at the local market – since I also have a full time job & this is my fun, I try to keep it simple!
