Quick Update

September 2 – Sunday

After 3 days of Prednisone – showing much improvement – and they feel better than they look.

Tummy still a little funny.

Edema maybe a little better in wrists & ankles. Total measurements for the month show 6.25 inches lost this month – weight doesn’t reflect it. Weight 170.5 – down 0.2

Joints are a little less happy than yesterday, maybe a 2.5 in balls of feet & 1.0 in hands. Neck a little crinkly.

Hand report: less red, less swollen, less dry, less leathery, less puffy, less itchy, no new little blisters, no new big deep blisters, no new cracks. Good progress, even have some skin that feels soft and normal 🙂

Red rash -all gone! Prednisone is an amazing drug.

Yesterday I ate: coffee, cream, sugar, Starbucks mocha frap in a bottle, chips, ice cream, eggs & FODMAD mayo, chicken, carrots, ginger, rice with salsa

September 1 – Saturday

Tummy has been off all day – maybe the Prednisone

Edema stable. Weight 170.7 – down 0.2 – at least not up with the dreaded Prednisone. took 50 mg on Thursday, 30 on Friday, 20 on Saturday, 10 on Sunday

Joints are all happy, maybe a .5 in balls of feet & 1 finger, and one shoulder. Neck a little crinkly.

Hand report: less red, less swollen, less dry, less leathery, less puffy, less itchy, no new little blisters, no new big deep blisters, progress.

Red rash – less itchy, less bumpy, less red – no new outbreak since Tuesday.

Yesterday I ate: eggs & FODMAD free mayo, melon, tomatoes, steak, coffee, sugar, ribs (some agave syrup in the BBQ sauce), rice in beef broth – some onion in the broth when it was cooked, peanut butter cup, Tummy happy all day.
